Preceptor is MSN prepared working as a Nursing Development Specialist with a background in the OR, Infection Prevention, Healthcare Quality, and Perioperative Leadership with multiple published research studies, professional nursing presentations, and decades of volunteerism. Flexible clinical hours, networking skills, and identifying resources are a focus of this preceptorship.

Academia/University as a Nurse Educator

Willing to precept individuals enrolled in an MSN program for Nurse Educators.

Nursing Professional Development Practitioner responsible for trauma education and outreach at a Level 1 Trauma Center and Academic Health Center

Accepting students pursuing their MSN in Nursing Education in need of hours for their capstone/practicum. Preceptor has MSN in Nursing Education. Opportunities available during this preceptorship would relate to trauma orientation and continuing education. Preceptor is not involved in onboarding or unit orientation. I enjoy thinking outside of the box to create fun educational experiences. Opportunities may include development of just in time education, podcasts, escape rooms, case-based scenarios, and simulations.
